Job summary

Foundation Partners Group seeks a Crematory Operator to ensure remains are received, processed, and released with dignity. You may assist with transporting the deceased from facilities to the funeral home and must stay composed and compassionate in challenging situations.

You will operate cremation equipment, maintain the crematorium, and document procedures with accuracy. Candidates must be at least 21, able to lift 100 lbs, and hold a valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Crematory operator certification is preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clear driving record.
• Ability to lift 100lbs safely.
• Effective communication skills and high levels of compassion and integrity.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent follow-up skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Compassion & Empathy: Care for the deceased respectfully while performing all tasks involved in the cremation process.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain the crematorium, equipment, and adjacent facilities.
• Meticulous Attention: Receive remains and ensure all documentation is complete and accurately identified.
• Critical Thinking: Receive instructions for multiple tasks and determine the optimal order.
• Safety Conscious: Promote a safe work environment and apply universal precautions.
• Professional Delivery: Deliver and release cremated remains to the appropriate funeral home or family member.
