Job summary

Foundation Partners Group in Kent, WA is seeking a Crematory Operator to ensure remains are received, processed, and returned to families with dignity. The role may involve transporting the deceased from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home, while maintaining composure and compassion in challenging situations.

You must be at least 21, able to lift 100 lbs, and have a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Experience working in funeral service or cremation operations is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with families with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Proven attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive remains and ensure proper documentation and identification.
• Assist with transporting the deceased between facilities as needed.
• Maintain crematory equipment and facility cleanliness and safety.
• Deliver cremated remains to families or other funeral homes.
• Support team with respectful, compassionate interactions.
