Job summary

Foundation Partners Group in Colorado is seeking a Crematory Operator to ensure remains are received, processed, and returned to families with dignity. You may assist with transporting the deceased from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home, maintaining composure and compassion in challenging situations.

This role requires the ability to lift 100 lbs, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Crematory operator certification preferred.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs safely.
• Effective communication and high levels of compassion and integrity.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate follow-up.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Compassion & Empathy: Care for the deceased respectfully while performing all the tasks involved in the cremation process
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain the crematorium, equipment, and adjacent facilities
• Meticulous Attention: Receive remains and ensure all documentation is complete and visual identification of the deceased is complete and accurate
• Critical Thinking: Receive instructions for multiple tasks, determine the ideal order for the tasks, and complete them promptly
• Safety Conscious: Promotes a safe work environment by being aware of and practicing universal precautions and adopting general principles of safe conduct
• Professional Delivery: Delivers and releases cremated remains to the appropriate funeral home or family member
