Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a Creeler Operator in Dalton, GA to ensure a continuous yarn supply for the beaming machine. You will maintain yarn flow, monitor spindles, and assist with machine operation and doffing rolls of carpet.

This role requires basic math, English literacy, and the ability to work in a team. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and perform daily maintenance per SOPs. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes in standard English and proficient in basic math.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Willingness to learn on-the-job training and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep the yarn supply close to the creel to change packages efficiently.
• Remove skinner package and place full package on creel.
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running from all spindles in use.
• Observe the creel, stop machine if needed and run up breakouts when necessary.
• Assist the operator in operating machine and doffing rolls of carpet.
• Work within a team environment.
• Perform daily autonomous maintenance activities.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures.
