Responsibilities

• Prepare and hang cones of yarn on Creels to feed and run the Tufting Machine, which produces carpet.
• Maintain yarn supply, unload and load yarn, splice ends, and ensure correct lot numbers are used.
• Move yarn to creel areas, hang on racks, and assist with machine changes and backing changes.
• Follow safety rules and maintain housekeeping; climb stairs as needed; work 8-hour shifts.
• Assist operator by feeding yarn and ensuring production requirements are met.
