Mohawk Industries is seeking a Creeler to support the tufting process in our Dalton, GA facility. The role focuses on preparing and feeding yarn to the tufting machine, maintaining supply, and ensuring correct lot numbers for production.

You will handle yarn loading, creel management, safety compliance, and housekeeping, with the opportunity to learn machine operation and contribute to continuous process improvements in a leading global flooring company.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a color blind test.
• See variations on color Hue test preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain yarn supply fed to tufting machine, including unpacking yarn, loading into creel, and splicing ends.
• Remove empty cones and place cone caps on hung yarn.
• Ensure correct lot numbers are used and feed yarn into the creel.
• Move yarn to buggies, push to creel area and hang on creel racks.
• Blow back yarn lines to the operator when needed.
• Learn to run the machine to give breaks to the tufting machine operator.
• Help change backing on machines as needed.
• Able to climb up to 4 flights of stairs to creels.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping rules and procedures.
• Follow directions from supervisor related to safety, quality, and production requirements.
