Qualifications

• Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis or underwriting within a banking environment.
• Certification in Credit Risk (e.g., CRISC, FRM) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to assess credit risk.
• Conduct thorough assessments of borrower creditworthiness using financial ratios, data and qualitative information.
• Assess collateral adequacy and value to determine loan structures and risk.
• Prepare credit memos with recommendations for loan approvals or rejections.
• Ensure decisions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
