Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Credit Underwriter II to manage low- to moderate-complexity transactions and support ultra-high-net-worth client lending relationships. You will conduct comprehensive financial analyses, document findings, and help drive responsible loan growth in collaboration with a credit team.

The role may be filled as Credit Underwriter I or II based on experience, with responsibilities spanning deal structuring, risk assessment, and collaboration with partners to close loans

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of commercial and/or private wealth management credit experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships across teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads the credit analysis process with the support of analysts and associates.
• Partners with Credit Officers, Relationship Management, and Risk to understand structuring needs.
• Monitors operating performance and financial condition, identifying issues and opportunities.
• Aids in delivery of financial modeling and loan structure analyses to support decisions.
• Reviews junior teammates' work to ensure compliance with laws and policy.
