Job summary

Bank of America seeks a Credit Underwriter II to support underwriting and monitoring for new and existing clients in partnership with a credit team. You will independently manage low‑complexity transactions, perform financial analysis, and coach teammates on credit requirements.

You will collaborate with Credit Officers, Relationship Management, and Risk teams to structure loans, review documents, and ensure adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• Strong financial analysis, accounting skills, and deal structuring for borrowers with complex balance sheets.
• 3–5+ years of commercial and/or private wealth management credit experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the credit analysis process with the support of other analysts and associates.
• Monitors operating performance and financial condition, identifying issues and opportunities.
• Reviews junior teammate work to provide coaching and ensure policy compliance.
• Participates in loan structure discussions and completion of loan documentation.
