Job summary

Transcendia, Inc. is seeking an orderly, detail-focused clerk to support the Credit department. The role handles credit card and check payments, credit applications, and reference processing, while maintaining files and tracking payments.

The candidate will perform light collections, run credit reports, and back up the A/R Cash Application Specialist as needed, ensuring accurate, timely updates to customer records.

Responsibilities

• Process credit card and “check by fax” payments.
• Obtain credit applications and process customer trade references.
• Run and print D&B and Credit Safe credit reports.
• Scan credit applications and maintain credit files.
• Maintain Short Pay Tracker in Excel.
• Send statements to customers upon request.
