Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Atlanta, Georgia seeks a Credit Lead to drive development of Credit Solutions professionals and lead portfolio risk oversight. You will ensure underwriting quality, risk rating accuracy, and timely remediation across teams.

You will coach teams, monitor asset quality, and collaborate with Banking partners and senior leadership to elevate risk management and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial credit, portfolio management, underwriting, or credit risk leadership.
• Strong knowledge of lending policies, risk governance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish workflow priorities and resource alignment for deal and portfolio activities.
• Maintain independent assessment of borrower and portfolio creditworthiness and identify emerging risks.
• Drive credit excellence metrics and ensure policy adherence across teams.
• Engage with clients and Banking partners in complex or sensitive situations.
• Coach and mentor Credit Solutions professionals and support continuous improvement.
