Job summary

City National Bank in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Credit Solutions Intern for a 10-week program to gain hands-on experience in underwriting, portfolio management, and financial analysis. You will work with Commercial Middle Market, Commercial Real Estate, Specialty Banking, Entertainment & Sports, Private Banking and Personal & Business Banking teams.

Successful completion may lead to a full-time offer via our Credit Management Training Program.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Rising Junior or Senior in college (graduation date no earlier than December of current year).
• Enrolled in a college/university working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects and assignments that contribute to the team’s success, including exposure to credit underwriting and portfolio management on active clients.
• Analyze company and personal financial statements to determine borrower performance and repayment capacity.
• Analyze industry performance and trends, update/create valuations, and report findings.
