City National Bank is offering a 10-week Credit Solutions Intern program designed to develop financial and business acumen. You will support lending teams across Commercial Middle Market, Commercial Real Estate, Specialty Banking, Entertainment & Sports, Private Banking and Personal & Business Banking.

Successful completion may lead to a full-time opportunity via the Credit Management Training Program, with hands-on underwriting exposure, financial analysis, and industry research.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Rising Junior or Senior in college with graduation date no earlier than December of current year.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects contributing to team success, including exposure to credit underwriting and portfolio management.
• Analyze company and personal financial statements to assess borrower performance and repayment capacity.
• Analyze industry performance and trends and support the capstone project with your cohort.
• Engage in instructor-led banking fundamentals and network with executives and senior leaders.
• Assist with updating/creating valuations and researching industry trends.
