Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. in Fargo, ND is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to lead the management of credit risk for trade receivables.

You will oversee underwriting, develop policies, and lead a high-performing team while partnering with store and field leaders to balance customer needs with sound credit decisions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in business credit underwriting within retail, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to drive improvements using credit

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing a business credit underwriting function with senior-level finance experience within a retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives, develop teams, and influence cross-functional partners.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead & develop a high performing credit risk team and foster a collaborative environment.
• Develop, implement and improve credit policies, underwriting practices, and use of credit scoring tools.
• Oversee review and underwriting of large credit requests while managing lien and bond strategies.
• Build relationships with field leadership to communicate risks and coordinate with operations and accounting.
• Promote ethical practices and drive continuous process improvement.
