Regions Bank in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Credit Risk Review Examiner to monitor and assess credit risk across assigned portfolios. You will analyze trends, assess origination quality, and evaluate risk practices through transactions testing and collaboration with business and risk partners.

The role requires strong knowledge of lending standards, a bachelor’s degree, and several years in credit risk or related assurance roles. This is a full-time, on-site position with incentive potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Seven years of credit-related experience, or five years in third line of defense credit risk assurance, regulatory, or credit management.
• Experience writing risk management review reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of lending practices, regulations, and Regions' loan policy.
• Reviews credit exposures for policy compliance and sound banking practices.
• Participates in credit risk review examinations and cross-business reviews.
• Develops relationships with line of business management and risk partners.
• Analyzes trends in key quality and performance metrics.
• Performs ad hoc credit risk analysis and data aggregation.
