Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a skilled professional to manage high-risk borrowing accounts within a defined portfolio, ensuring accurate administration, timely reporting, and compliance with bank policies. You will advise stakeholders on risk issues and implement data-driven lending solutions.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners to support strategic initiatives, perform data analysis, and develop reports and dashboards to drive informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Typically 4+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth Commercial Lending Product knowledge.
• In-depth knowledge of banking products & services.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
• Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an exceptional customer experience for a defined portfolio of high risk borrowing accounts by supporting the management and administration of the accounts.
• Ensures all reports, entries, monitoring systems and other requirements are executed and maintained timely and accurately.
• Advises stakeholders of risk related issues and escalates as required.
• Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
• Provides advice and guidance to stakeholders on the implementation of solutions.
• Maintains and enhances knowledge around lending issues, including loan structure, collateral, foreclosure, bankruptcy and the various regulations that directly impact the Bank.
• Manages databases and provides support for analysis, forecasting and/or data visualization, ensuring adherence with data governance standards.
