First National Bank (FNBO) in Omaha seeks a Senior Analyst to act as a technical expert in credit risk, delivering advanced analytics across executive reporting, portfolio analytics, AI and innovation, and credit loss forecasting in a dynamic hybrid environment.

In this role you will mentor junior teammates, translate complex data into actionable recommendations, collaborate with risk, finance, and strategy teams, and drive automation and data storytelling to support risk decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as Math, Physics, Statistics, engineering, Computer Science.
• 3+ years of experience in Credit management or Credit Risk Forecasting or other highly analytical business field.
• Ability to present recommendations and influence senior management.
• Unrestricted work authorization and not requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Communicate card portfolio insights to risk committees and leadership.
• Create early warning indicator reports for deteriorating credit quality.
• Analyze customer acquisition channels for risk-adjusted returns.
• Conduct analysis of delinquency, charge-off, and utilization patterns.
• Independently explore large datasets and present findings to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and pilot emerging tools and technologies for risk analytics.
• Drive process automation for reporting, data prep, and model execution.
