Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Director of Credit to lead its credit, collections, and accounts receivable function within the Accounting/Controller organization. The role will shape credit governance, payment terms, and risk management as SHI scales.

This leadership position partners with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Operations to improve cash flow visibility and working capital goals while building a high-performing credit team and scalable processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, financial operations, or customer risk management.
• 4+ years of experience in a management position.

Responsibilities

• Lead credit, collections, and accounts receivable to support cash flow and working capital goals.
• Develop and maintain credit policies, approval standards, credit limit guidelines, and governance practices across the organization.
• Oversee customer account credit evaluations, payment term recommendations, account monitoring, and portfolio risk management.
• Design and execute collections strategies to reduce outstanding receivables, improve cash conversion, and support timely resolution of payment issues.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, Operations, and leadership to balance commercial priorities and financial discipline.
• Monitor receivables aging, credit exposure, payment trends, and risk indicators, and provide reporting to leadership.
• Build and lead a high-performing team focused on accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
