Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a Treasury Team Lead to manage the day-to-day money movement for Gen II clients and to implement treasury technology solutions.

You will onboard clients, coordinate payments for investments and distributions, and ensure strict adherence to SOPs and internal controls. Hybrid NYC-based role with strong focus on team leadership and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a growing team of centralized treasury professionals.
• Participate in implementing Gen II’s treasury solutions.
• Onboard clients to platforms and coordinate payment timing.
• Manage payment instructions for investments, distributions and expenses.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly in writing and orally.
• Document SOPs and internal control narratives for treasury functions.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and process improvement.
• Ensure daily operations are completed on time.
• Provide training on treasury processes to client teams.
• Serve as a client escalation contact and liaison with banks.
• Support accountants and investor service professionals as needed.
• Operate in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment.
• Provide monthly volume and KPI statistics.
• Handle other duties/projects as assigned.

Job description

Your role may include, but will not be limited to, the following tasks which we call ‘Defined Business Activities’. The list of defined business activities is not exhaustive and may be amended from time to time:

• Lead a growing team of centralized treasury individuals, that manages the day-to-day money movement for Gen II clients
• Actively involved in the implementation of Gen II’s treasury technology solutions
• Assist with onboarding clients to the appropriate platforms
• Work with Client Managers, and their respective teams, across Gen II to manage payment instructions and timing of payments for investment capital calls, investor distributions and expenses
• Respond to client inquiries in a prompt manner, utilizing oral and written communications
• Oversee the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Internal Control narratives related to the Treasury systems' functions with accuracy and completeness
• Identify opportunities for standardization, and continual process improvement and coordination
• Ensure daily operations functions are completed in a timely manner
• Provide training to client teams on treasury processes and procedures
• Serve as a client contact for any escalation needs
• Liaise with client banks
• Provide support, on an as-requested basis, to the accountants and investor service professionals
• Operate in a deadline driven, high volume and constantly changing environment
• Provide monthly statistics of the team’s volume and key performance indicators
• Other duties/projects as assigned

Job Requirements, Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field experience
• 3+ years’ experience within the treasury /banking services industry

Work Arrangement

All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule, comprised of three (3) days a week in our New York office and two (2) days remotely.

The salary range for this position is $85,000-$100,000 in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level
