Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Credit Support Associate in Chicago to assist Credit Officers with underwriting, monitoring, and portfolio management of financing and traded product transactions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in institutional banking or Global Markets.
• Knowledge of ISDA, MSFTA, Repo, MRA, and Credit Agreements.
• Ability to review prospectuses and identify risk elements.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets using Excel or BI platforms.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiar with credit and risk systems.
• Ability to navigate data across multiple platforms to support underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting, monitoring, and portfolio management of financed/traded products.
• Review credit agreements and related documents to extract key terms and covenants.
• Prepare/interim monitoring documents and review financial covenants.
• Maintain system ticklers; source financial statements and NAVs.
• Monitor compliance with credit agreements and internal risk policies.
• Coordinate pre/post-closing activities and due diligence.
• Review client prospectuses and transactions to align with credit policies.
• Work with Operations to ensure accurate booking and lifecycle management.
• Identify data quality issues across risk systems and data sets.
• Leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot for documentation review and analyses.
