Job summary
BMO Capital Markets in Chicago seeks an Analyst to support the Global Markets Corporate Banking Securitization team. You will perform due diligence, credit analysis, and deal-structure reviews for securitization transactions across auto loans, student loans, mortgages, and more.
You will assist in portfolio management, prepare credit memoranda, monitor exposure, and collaborate with Account Management to deliver concise analytical findings.
Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree with outstanding academic achievement.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in credit, structured finance, capital markets, or related analytical roles; formal credit training preferred.
- Knowledge of capital markets, investment banking products and applicable regulations.
- Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare concise credit applications and memoranda for new and existing transactions.
- Conduct credit risk analysis of securitization transactions using servicer reports, cash flow models and financial statements.
- Assist in portfolio management by monitoring transaction performance and preparing updates for credit partners.
- Review documentation for conformity with approved Credit terms and conditions.
