Job summary

Atradius is seeking a Claims Examiner to join our Maryland-based team, with hybrid work options and offices in Montreal and Mississauga. The role focuses on analyzing claims for credit-insured transactions, ensuring claims policies are followed, and supporting timely resolutions across internal and external stakeholders.

The candidate will interact with the claims community, monitor recoveries, and contribute to policy development.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Previous insurance or claims handling experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite, effective written and oral communication skills and a detail oriented approach are required.
• Candidates for Montreal or Mississauga offices must have a current AMF adjuster license.

Responsibilities

• Apply claims examination principles to assess liability for credit-insured losses within defined authority levels.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, systems, and quality standards.
• Accurately assess and calculate indemnity payments per policy terms.
