Job summary

Sovereign Insurance Group is seeking a Claims Specialist to manage the claims lifecycle from notice to resolution. You will work with customers and carriers, ensuring timely submission, accurate investigations, and thorough documentation.

Ideal candidates hold or can obtain a valid P&C license, have strong MS Office skills, and are proficient with AMS360 and ImageRight. This hybrid role supports collaboration across teams in Berwyn, PA and beyond.

Qualifications

• A valid resident Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with claims investigation and P&C insurance preferred.
• Strong communication with customers and carriers; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Review and process incoming claims promptly and accurately.
• Request and track information needed for accurate submission.
• Investigate and resolve complex claim issues.
• Maintain detailed records of all claims activity and correspondence.
• Communicate status and next steps with customers and carriers.
• Monitor large claims and keep insured informed through closure.
• Notify SVP Operations of large claim concerns.
• Provide excellent customer service addressing concerns and complaints.
• Analyze and investigate to prevent fraud.
• Generate loss run reports for stakeholders and leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
