About The Role

F&M Trust is seeking a Credit Department Manager to join the Commercial Loan Administration department of our growing bank, which has experienced record commercial loan growth while maintaining pristine credit quality. Reporting to the Commercial Loan Administration Manager, this individual will be primarily responsible for managing the credit analysis and underwriting process for commercial customers to ensure proper quality, responsiveness, and control procedures. This individual will lead and mentor a team of commercial credit analysts and a credit department support specialist. Additionally, the successful candidate will collaborate with Commercial Lenders in the processing of loan submission packages, monitor the process of requesting and receiving financial information and credit inquiries, prepare reports, attend committees, etc.

Location and Work Arrangement

The home office location for this individual will be at the Bank's corporate headquarters at 1500 Nitterhouse Drive, Chambersburg, PA, or the regional headquarters at 4050 Crums Mill Road, Harrisburg, PA. Some travel to the opposite headquarters is necessary for team exposure. A hybrid working arrangement is available.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in commercial loan underwriting/analysis, credit officer roles, commercial loan review, or auditing from an accounting or related firm.
• Bachelor's degree required; relevant coursework preferred.
• Management experience is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Strategic thinking ability.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Decision-making capability, including tough decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn new technologies.
• Valid driver's license.
