Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- is seeking a Credit & Collections Supervisor in Los Angeles, CA. The role leads the collections team, oversees bad debt accounts, performs risk reporting, negotiates settlements, reviews vendor contracts, and maintains aging and payment plans with new customer onboarding.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of management experience, a bachelor's degree preference, and strong communication, multitasking, and AI tool experience in a dynamic, industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in commercial collections and credit/risk management.
• Management experience of at least 2 years.
• Background in distribution, wholesale, retail, or manufacturing with inventory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Credit & Collections team and manage collections and bad debt accounts.
• Perform credit risk and cash flow reporting and negotiate settlements.

• Ensure proper payments to vendor accounts and send weekly billing reports.

Salary: USD110000 - USD120000 per year

Consumer products company located in the South Bay is looking for a Credit & Collections Supervisor. The Credit & Collections Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the Credit & Collections team, managing collections and bad debt accounts, performing credit risk and cash flow reporting, negotiating account settlements, reviewing vendor contracts, updating the aging report on collection efforts, monitoring payment plans, processing new customer applications, and ensuring proper payments to vendor accounts. The Credit & Collections Supervisor will also send weekly billing reports to customers as well as keep management and departments updated on account status.

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline is preferred.
• Strong track record of commercial collections, problem resolution, customer service, and credit/risk management.
• At least two years of management experience.
• Distribution, wholesale, retail, or manufacturing industries (inventory) background.
• Experience using AI and/or automation tools is essential!
• Must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment is essential.
• Multi-tasking skills are critical.
• $110 - 120k + bonus.
