Job summary

Palmdale Oil Company is seeking a Credit and Collections Specialist for our Palm Beach Gardens office who will contact customers with past-due balances and ensure timely payment while maintaining accurate records and resolving invoice disputes. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential to meeting collection targets and preserving customer relationships.

The role requires proficiency with Microsoft Office, the ability to handle PCI-compliant payments, and a professional demeanor

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable communicating with customers over the phone.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Detail oriented with strong accuracy.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to collect or negotiate payment plans.
• Make 30–35 calls per day using the Vonage system.
• Locate customers using credit bureau data and other sources.
• Take payments over the phone or via the payment portal while maintaining PCI compliance.
• Document all communications and payments in the ERP system.
• Submit regular status reports on unpaid accounts and repayment progress.
• Resolve billing issues and handle related clerical tasks.
