Job summary

Palmdale Oil Company is seeking a Credit and Collections Specialist for our Palm Beach Gardens office. You will contact customers with overdue balances, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain accurate records in our ERP system while meeting collection targets.

The role requires strong phone communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and careful attention to detail. Join a team that values professional demeanor, clear written/verbal communication, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable communicating with customers over the phone.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers with overdue accounts, negotiate payment plans or collect the overdue amount.
• Make 30–35 calls per day using the Vonage phone system and handle various customer questions/requests.
• Use credit bureau data, post office information, internet searches and other tools to locate customers who moved or changed contact details.
• Take payments over the phone or via our payment portal, maintaining PCI Compliance.
• Maintain records of contacts and payments in the ERP system and document communications with customers.
• Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and repayment progress.
