Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Proven leadership experience managing a billing/collections team.
• Experience developing collection strategies to improve AR performance.
• Strong financial and analytical skills including aging analysis and credit risk assessment.
• Knowledge of IOLTA rules and professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor the collections team, establishing priorities and performance.
• Develop and execute collection initiatives to optimize accounts receivable and cash flow.
• Partner with Billing Manager, Controller, and CFO to evaluate receivables performance and risks.
• Oversee accounts receivable portfolio, aging analysis, credit risk assessment and collections prioritization.
• Analyze AR trends, prepare management reports, and recommend improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline billing and collections processes and strengthen internal controls.
