Job summary

Milwaukee Succeeds is seeking a Credit and Collections Manager to lead accounts receivable and collections, oversee credit analysis, billing, and revenue cycle management. You will partner with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and strengthen cash flow.

This role requires detail-oriented leadership with accounting/finance experience, sound judgment, and clear client communication. The ideal candidate will supervise a team and enhance financial operations within a premier Milwaukee

Qualifications

Detail-oriented leader with accounting and finance experience.
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and credit analysis.
Experience with GAAP and SOX compliance is valued.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train and evaluate team members; manage workflow and client service to resolve discrepancies.
Provide clear, timely resolution to help clients understand their accounts and maintain accurate records.
Manage collections priorities with attorneys; review aging accounts and assess credit risk.
Oversee billing, cash application, account reconciliation, journal entries, and accurate data entry; review debits/credits.
Analyze receivables and collection trends using Excel; share findings with stakeholders.
Oversee IOLTA trust account reconciliations and stay current on applicable rules and regulations.
Support Controller and CFO in banking relationships.
