Job summary

Kansas Ag Connection is seeking a Credit and Collections Associate to analyze customer creditworthiness, extend credit per policy, and contact key customers to collect past due balances. You will coordinate with sales, logistics, and management to resolve disputes and ensure timely payments.

Preferred candidates have an undergraduate degree in business or related fields or NACM CSA certification, with 0–2 years experience in credit/collections and familiarity with SAP or Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field, or NACM CSA or higher.
• 0-2 years' experience in credit and collections.
• Experience with software applications (SAP, Microsoft) preferred.
• NACM Certification CSA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct collection calls for accounts receivable.
• Control credit exposure by account monitoring and order release.
• Negotiate with customers to resolve discrepancies and collect past due balances.
• Coordinate credit data between customer, sales and management.
• Investigate new and existing accounts using bank and trade references.
• Analyze credit information to recommend credit lines up to $25,000.
• Set up new accounts and verify entity name, A/P, terms.
