Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking a Credit Card Risk Strategy Analyst to lead quantitative credit strategies for consumer card acquisition programs. You will develop approval strategies, initial credit lines, and risk-based pricing while monitoring portfolio performance to meet loss and risk-adjusted return objectives.

The role requires extensive experience in analytics, SQL/SAS, and collaboration across Credit Administration, Underwriting, Fraud, and Compliance to optimize credit policy and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics or related field.
• 7+ years of analytics experience in financial services.
• Proficiency with SQL and SAS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of consumer credit card origination strategies and performance reporting.
• Design, run, and evaluate policy experiments and A/B tests to improve credit policy and strategy.
• Forecast, monitor, and report credit risk performance and emerging portfolio trends.
• Collaborate across Credit Administration, Underwriting, Fraud, Model Risk Management, Product, and Legal/Compliance to align with risk and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate end-to-end analytical lifecycle including project development, execution, and post-implementation monitoring.
• Analyze data using SQL/SAS to review performance and validate strategy changes.
