Job summary

OneMain Financial is seeking an Analytics Manager for Credit Card Analytics to drive risk management strategies and deliver analytics insights that mitigate losses and enable growth of the card portfolio.

Location options include Charlotte, NC or Wilmington, DE, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead reporting, strategy validation, and segmentation analyses while leveraging SQL, SAS, and Python to develop and test new strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline and 5+ years of related experience.
• SQL knowledge highly preferred
• SAS experience preferred
• Strong Excel/MS Office skills required
• 5+ years of experience in a complex, data-driven problem-solving environment
• Lending or consumer finance industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Reporting, strategy implementation, validation, and ad-hoc analyses including segmentation, competitive and sensitivity analyses, and modeling.
• Expand competencies and grow business acumen across end-to-end project cycles.
• Under manager guidance, design and execute targeting optimization using multiple data sources.
• Utilize data query tools (SQL, SAS, Python) and analytical software to develop, test, and execute new strategies.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure data accuracy.
• Continuously enhance processes and reporting through automation, quality control, and insights.
• Effectively summarize and present results and insights to management.
• Be innovative and develop a highly analytical approach to problem-solving
