Job summary

EMSL Analytical, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Credit and Collections Representative to perform business-to-business collections in a hands-on role.

You will contact delinquent customer accounts, maintain files, research discrepancies, and process payments while coordinating with management for payment plans. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least three years of B2B collections experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in business to business collections is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clientele.
• Able to work in a high volume environment.
• Effective time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal assistance.

Responsibilities

• Performing business to business collections by contacting delinquent customer accounts.
• Maintaining customer files.
• Researching billing and payment discrepancies.
• Process credit card and ACH payments.
• Assist with setting up payment schedules as needed per manager's approval.
• Provide customers with reports, invoices and statements when requested.
