OneMain Financial, based in Wilmington, DE, seeks a Lead Analyst, Credit Analytics to optimize underwriting and pricing strategies. You will pull data, conduct deep analysis, and translate insights into actionable recommendations to improve profitability and portfolio quality.

Working with partners, you will design strategies, perform reporting, and present findings to management while expanding your skills across end-to-end credit processes in a dynamic consumer lending environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience solving complex data-driven problems.
• Masters or PhD degrees may offset experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, recommend, document and execute consumer credit underwriting and pricing strategies.
• Extract and analyze historical customer performance data from multiple systems.
• Utilize data query tools and decision tree/ML methods to develop new strategies.
• Drive profitable growth with a credit-cycle view and strategy optimization framework.
• Implement Quality Control to ensure data accuracy and improve reporting.
