The candidate will pull data, perform deep analyses, and communicate insights to management, partnering across teams to deliver end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced lending environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in quantitative discipline is preferred.
• 3+ years of data-driven problem solving experience; advanced degrees may offset experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, recommend, document and execute consumer credit underwriting and pricing strategies from historical performance data.
• Use data query and analytics tools (R, SAS, SQL, MATLAB, Python) to develop and test new strategies.
• Apply regression and machine learning to understand drivers of customer behavior under different strategy treatments.
• Drive strategy optimization with a full credit-cycle view to grow revenue and manage risk.
• Implement quality control to ensure data accuracy and improve reporting and automation.
• Summarize results and present insights to management.
• Collaborate with partners to support strategy validation and ad-hoc analyses.
