Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with the processes used to analyze financial data.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines while delivering a high-quality work product.
• Entry-level understanding of general bank operations and the commercial lending process.
• Ability to understand and communicate information clearly in writing and speech with teammates and leaders.
• Strong computer skills with Excel; familiarity with Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience with the nCino application is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret financial statements and provide financial analysis support utilized in underwriting complex C&I and commercial real estate loans.
• Work proactively to ensure production is prioritized and completed in a timely manner, including financial spreading, loan requests, covenant monitoring, and industry research.
• Participate in relationship team meetings to explain information in the analysis when warranted.
• Analyze and prepare credit approval documentation, reflecting loan terms, collateral, covenants and inputs in the commercial loan system.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers to monitor and manage assigned commercial loan portfolios, tracking covenants and company performance.
• Identify and report material changes or trends in financial statements observed in credit reviews.
• Participate in internal and external meetings with clients, PMs, RMs, Credit Officers and senior management.
• Engage in portfolio management projects and other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate ownership of portfolio metrics, flexibility with deadlines, and independent work within policy guidelines.
