Job summary

Northwest Bank is hiring a Credit Analyst to perform financial statement spreading, underwriting, and credit analysis to support commercial lending and portfolio management. The role focuses on creating credit memos for new money requests and may assist with annual reviews and modifications.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. The position is onsite Monday through Thursday, with Fridays optional work-from-home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, accounting, finance or related discipline.
• 3-5 years relevant commercial lending or credit administration experience, specifically related to C&I lending.
• Formal credit training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely, high quality credit analysis and recommendations evaluating credit action strengths and weaknesses.
• Engage in the Opportunity Memo process, assess credits and finalize memos for presentation.
• Actively participate on OM calls and analyze financial statements, industry risk, loan structure and market conditions.
