Job summary

1st Security Bank of Washington is seeking a credit underwriting professional to analyze and structure loans for existing and prospective customers. You will support Team Leaders, Relationship Managers and Credit Administration in underwriting and portfolio management.

The role requires strong financial analysis, with SBA credit experience considered a plus. A collaborative, client-focused environment offers growth, stability, and opportunities for advancement within a well-established community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or equivalent experience.
• Five to seven years of credit underwriting, loan structuring, policy analysis and portfolio management.
• Experience in sales and customer service in financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present credit requests to loan committees and management.
• Maintain credit standings and respond to credit inquiries as appropriate.
• Analyze commercial, construction and real estate credits and prepare financial statement spreads.
• Assess liquidity, leverage, cash flow and contingent liabilities of borrowers.
• Monitor loan portfolios and communicate adverse trends to management.
