Job summary

1st Security Bank is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to conduct in-depth credit analysis for existing and prospective customers. You will support underwriting and portfolio management while coordinating with team leaders and relationship managers to structure loans with appropriate risk controls.

The role emphasizes strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure timely and accurate credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent.
• Five to seven years in credit underwriting, loan structuring, policy analysis and portfolio management.
• Five to seven years of sales and customer service in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present credit requests for lending decisions and renewals.
• Maintain control over credit standings and respond to inquiries.
• Demonstrate knowledge of commercial, construction and real estate credit analysis.
• Analyze financial statements and projections.
• Assess liquidity, leverage, cash flow and contingent liabilities.
