First Independent Bank seeks a Credit Analyst II in Marshall, MN to analyze financial information and support lending decisions. You will prepare credit presentations with loan officers and conduct annual reviews, leveraging FINPACK, Suntell, and Excel to ensure accurate underwriting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with lenders, accurate financial analysis, and prompt customer service to help communities thrive. Prior credit analysis experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a credit analyst, portfolio management, or equivalent banking role.
• AA or BA in Finance or Accounting preferred; equiv. experience considered.
• Basic understanding of tax returns; strong tax return interpretation preferred.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and enter data into financial analysis software.
• Assess credit requests for Agricultural and Commercial loans, typically $500M to $14MM.
• Prepare credit presentations for loan committees and annual reviews.
• Perform ongoing credit management through reviews and reporting.
• Present findings and recommendations on borrower creditworthiness.
• Support training of new credit analysts and liaise with lenders on complex relationships.
• Meet with customers to gather financial information and understand operations.
