Job summary

First Independent Bank in Marshall, MN is seeking a Credit Analyst I to support lending decisions by analyzing financial information and preparing credit presentations with loan officers for loan committees.

You will review borrower financial statements, perform risk assessments on agricultural and commercial requests, and contribute to annual reviews, while delivering prompt, accurate customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years in a credit analyst, portfolio management, or similar banking role.
• AA or Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Basic understanding of tax returns; strong interpretation preferred.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial statements into financial analysis software (FINPACK, Suntell, Excel).
• Analyze financials for Agricultural and Commercial loan requests.
• Assist with risk assessment per bank standards and guidelines.
• Prepare credit approval analyses and internal reviews for loan committees.
• Present findings on borrower creditworthiness and support annual reviews.
