Job summary

First Mid is seeking a Credit Analyst to conduct in-depth credit analyses for commercial and agricultural loan relationships, review financial statements, and prepare presentations for loan officers and committees. You will monitor requests, assign risk ratings, and support training for junior analysts as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and/or commensurate banking experience.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis or banking industry.
• Formal advanced training in Microsoft Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit analyses and financial statement reviews of complex loans and commercial/agr loan relationships.
• Create professional credit presentations summarizing borrower financial condition and repayment capacity.
• Monitor loan requests and assign risk ratings based on policies and guidelines.
• Research industry information and provide analysis for lending decisions.
• Assist with training of less tenured analysts and review their work.
