Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis seeks a Credit Analyst II to support the Senior Credit Analysts in underwriting large agricultural accounts and managing the accounts receivable portfolio from origination through collection.

You will analyze customer financial statements, industry trends, and credit reports to support informed credit decisions while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of credit analysis, underwriting, banking, commercial finance, or agricultural lending experience.
• Strong financial statement and cash flow analysis skills.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting and risk assessment.
• Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Willingness to learn advanced underwriting and portfolio management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large agricultural accounts for creditworthiness, often with limits exceeding $500,000.
• Evaluate repayment capacity and overall creditworthiness of customers.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Conduct credit reviews and provide underwriting recommendations.
• Draft security agreements and UCC-1 filings; perform lien priority analysis under UCC rules.
• Support collections by identifying assets tied to past-due accounts.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and applicable laws.
