Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a Credit Analyst II to support Senior Credit Analysts and Credit Managers in underwriting large agricultural accounts, financial reporting, and AR portfolio management from origination through collection.

The role collaborates across the enterprise with nationwide accounts and emphasizes creditworthiness evaluation, financial statement analysis, and risk reporting while ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of credit analysis, underwriting, banking, commercial finance, or agricultural lending experience.
• Strong financial statement and cash flow analysis skills.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting and risk assessment.
• Intermediate analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of risk management practices and the ability to maintain high standards while aligning with company credit policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or an agriculture-related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large agricultural accounts for creditworthiness and repayment capacity.
• Underwrite and review large customer credit requests and support risk management.
• Analyze borrower financial statements, tax returns, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Consolidate and analyze customer financial and tax information to support credit decisions.
• Draft security agreements and UCC-1 filings and perform lien priority analysis.
• Support collections efforts and assist Credit Specialists as needed.
• Communicate with Credit Managers and the Director of Credit and Financing on portfolio management.
