Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a Credit Analyst II to support Senior Credit Analysts and Credit Managers in portfolio management, underwriting large agricultural accounts, and financial reporting. The role involves analyzing financial statements, industry trends, and credit reports to assess repayment capacity for accounts across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in credit analysis, strong cash flow analysis skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of credit analysis or related experience
• Strong financial statement and cash flow analysis skills
• Knowledge of credit underwriting and risk assessment
• Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Knowledge of risk management practices and adherence to company credit policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or agriculture-related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate repayment capacity and creditworthiness of potential and existing customers
• Analyze borrower financial statements, tax returns, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Conduct thorough credit reviews and provide underwriting recommendations
• Consolidate and analyze customer financial and tax information to support credit decisions
• Run business and trade reports for potential and existing customers
• Draft security agreements and UCC-1 filings and perform lien priority analysis per UCC rules
• Support collections by identifying assets tied to past-due accounts
• Assist Credit Specialists as needed
• Communicate with Credit Managers and Director of Credit and Financing
• Support portfolio management activities from origination through collection
