Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a Credit Analyst II to support Senior Credit Analysts in underwriting large agricultural accounts, financial reporting, data analysis, and AR portfolio management from origination through collection.

You will analyze financial statements, perform risk assessments, and contribute to credit reviews while ensuring compliance with company policies. The role involves cross-enterprise collaboration on nationwide accounts, often with credit limits over $500,000.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of credit analysis, underwriting, banking, or agricultural lending experience.
• Strong financial statement and cash flow analysis skills.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or agriculture-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate repayment capacity and creditworthiness of customers.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow.
• Conduct credit reviews and provide underwriting recommendations.
• Run business and trade reports for potential and existing customers.
• Draft security agreements and UCC-1 filings; perform lien priority analysis.
