Western Alliance Bank, part of Western Alliance Bancorporation, seeks a Credit Analyst for the Phoenix market. You will spread and analyze financials, develop credit studies for Loan Officers and executives, and prepare a range of credit department reports.

You will work with commercial banking teams to underwrite loans, manage client financials, and coordinate with auditors and appraisers as needed. This is an entry-to-mid level role focusing on analytical growth in a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting course.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• An interest in working in Commercial Banking.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Spread, manage and maintain financial background information on present and prospective customers and develop credit studies for Loan Officers and executives.
• Prepare credit department reports and review client financials with sensitivity analyses to evaluate risk.
• Collaborate with Bank groups to execute treasury management products and loan packages.
• Monitor loan disbursements and ensure compliance with Bank regulations.
