Job summary

Western Alliance Bank in San Jose is seeking a Credit Analyst for its 2027 Commercial Banking Development Program. You will spread and analyze financials, develop credit studies for Loan Officers and executives, and prepare diverse credit department reports.

You will review client financials, perform sensitivity analysis, and collaborate with bank groups on treasury management products and loans, while monitoring disbursements for compliance.

Qualifications

• Accounting course completed.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Interest in Commercial Banking.
• Ability to self-motivate and work without supervision.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Spread, manage and maintain financial background information on present and prospective customers.
• Develop credit studies for Loan Officers, Chief Credit Officer and executives.
• Prepare a variety of credit department reports.
• Review client financials and perform sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk.
• Collaborate across Bank groups to support treasury management products and loans.
• Monitor loan disbursements to ensure regulatory compliance.
