Job summary

Western Alliance Bank in Reno is seeking a 2027 Commercial Banking Development Program - Credit Analyst. You will spread, analyze, and maintain financial background data for current and prospective clients, and develop credit studies for loan officers and senior management.

Responsibilities include preparing credit department reports, reviewing client financials, and collaborating with treasury, foreign exchange and loan teams to assemble loan packages.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting course.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• An interest in working in Commercial Banking.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Spread, manage and maintain financial background information on present and prospective customers.
• Develop credit studies for Loan Officers, Chief Credit Officer and other Executive Management.
• Prepare a variety of credit department reports and loan packages for new and restructured loans.
• Collaborate with bank groups to support treasury management products and other banking services.
