Job summary

Starion Bank in Wisconsin is seeking an analytical Credit Analyst to join our lending team. You will perform credit analysis for new and existing loan requests, prepare presentation materials, and support lenders with risk assessments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of credit analysis or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel; database or financial software experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit analysis for new and existing loan requests, including preparation of credit approval presentations and financial statement spreads.
• Conduct annual credit reviews and provide written credit recommendations to management regarding loan structure and creditworthiness.
• Support lenders with complex credit transactions, risk assessments, and servicing needs.
• Assist with credit-related training, appraisal reviews, and ongoing process improvements within credit administration.
• Participate in projects related to policy updates, regulatory changes, system enhancements, and efficiency initiatives.
